A tour to Uganda reveals Africa’s most endangered animal species, and a variety of nature explorations that can be fantastic. The major gateway into Uganda is through the main international airport of Entebbe. This airport receives direct flights from Johannesburg-South Africa, London-U.K., Istanbul, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cairo-Egypt, Nairobi-Kenya, and Addis Ababa-Ethiopia. Likewise, it is also possible to enter Uganda through the major roads that cross over the border from neighboring country of Kenya using the Busia-Malaba route in western Kenya. 



Not that passing through the border by car or motorcycle requires travelers to carry a permit k own as the Carnet du Passage, and if you are a tourist, you will require the 90-day tourist visa. If you are based in the capital cities of neighboring countries, then take advantage of the public bus transport at the international bus terminals. The buses connect from the capital cities to terminals in Kampala City of Uganda



There are many options to choose for sleeping in Uganda. You can opt for the hotel accommodation that is widely available in the towns and cities of the country. National parks in Uganda also offer their lodgings to tourists who choose to tour and spend their nights in the same parks. The hotels are the cheapest option because you can find a hotel that provides comfortable but the basic requirements of a bed, beddings, and a table, at a cheap price of at least 5000 Ugandan Shillings. The luxurious hotels in the cities provide their exotic rooms for at least 100 US Dollars per night, whereas the lodgings in the national parks are at most $5 per night. 


Uganda’s cuisine can be categorized into the traditional dishes and the modern dishes with influences from the foreign cuisines. Common recipes such as yams, cooked bananas, fish, and many sorts of plantains characterize the local dishes. Fruits are in plenty in the market and they are part of the local desserts. 



While in Uganda, there many places to visit especially the nature parks where tourists get to meet the most indigenous animal species of Africa. Grab the chance to meet the mountain gorillas in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park that is located at the border with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Lake Victoria is also a nice spot to visit in case you miss the coastal view. The lake will make feel at the coast by its massive cover of territory. Fun activities to indulge in are tracking of gorillas in their natural habitat, water rafting in the River Nile at the established rafting centers, mountain biking, and safari tours amongst many other activities in the tourist sites.
