1. The Swiss Alps, Switzerland

2. The Finnish Lapland, Finland

Snow is guaranteed in Finnish Lapland, and it stays on the ground for up to six months a year. 3. Prahova Valley, Romania


Prahova Valley is the valley where the Prahova river makes its way between the Bucegi and the Baiu Mountains, in the Carpathian Mountains, Romania. It is a tourist region, situated about 100 km north of the capital city of Bucharest. The region is a popular destination for mountaineers and for winter sports fans. The most important resorts in the Prahova Valley are: Predeal, Azuga, Busteni, Sinaia, Comarnic and Breaza. You can easily get there by train and car. Prahova Valley is located between the Bucegi and Baiu mountains, in the Carpathian Mountains, Romania.

4. Salzburg, Austria


Salzburg is the capital of the federal state of Salzburg in Austria. Salzburg's Old Town has internationally renowned baroque architecture and one of the best-preserved city centers north of the Alps. Salzburg is one of the smaller Austrian lands but it is one of the most important for the tourism industry. There are a lot of things to see in the beautiful city of Salzburg. Here you can find Mozart's birth house and many other tourist attractions. Salzburg is located near the German boarder.

5. Jukkasjarvi, Sweden


Jukkasjärvi is a locality situated in northern Sweden. The village is a popular tourist accommodation during the winter months and is best known for its ice hotel. The Icehotel in the village of Jukkasjarvi was the world's first ice hotel. Every winter, artists from all over the world gather in the small village of Jukkasjarvi, 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, to build the art project that has become known as ICEHOTEL.
