Grand Canyon SkyWalk - Beautiful Glass Bridge

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is the world’s highest man-made structure. It is a glass-bottom U-shaped bridge that overlooks the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon's West Rim. Situated 4,000 feet above the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon, the Skywalk is an exhilarating experience.


 The Grand Canyon SkyWalk extends 70 feet over the Grand Canyon’s rim and weighs 1.2 million pounds. The magnificent Grand Canyon SkyWalk is able to withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes. The Grand Canyon SkyWalk is able to sustain winds in excess of 100 miles per hour from 8 different directions, as well as an 8.0 magnitude earthquake within 50 miles.


The The cantilever design of the Grand Canyon Skywalk was created by David Jin. It is owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribe.
