Bora Bora is a small island that has a very beautiful beach and famous, so that could be categorized as one of the best beaches in the world. The island is located into the French zone in the Pacific Ocean, to be precise about 230 kilometers (140 miles) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and barrier reef. In the middle of the island are the remnants of a volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 meters (2385 feet).
Now the island is a tourist destination of local and foreign tourists. Many activities can we do here, like one of them is snorkeling and scuba diving in the lagoon around Bora Bora, which became one of the popular activities.
And the main tourist attractions are well known for its aqua-centric luxury resort. So the last few years several resorts have been built on the motu (small islands) surrounding the lagoon.
Also tourists can come here to visit the places where the rest of World War II first.
