Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty is a gigantic statue which is located on Liberty Island, at the mouth of the Hudson River in New York Harbor, the United States. The name of this statue is actually "Liberty Enlightening the World" or the Liberty which illuminates the world. The statue was awarded France to the United States in the late 19 th century and is a symbol of welcome to visitors, immigrants and returning Americans.
