Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Punta Cana is a Caribbean site of attraction. It is best known for its beautiful white sandy beaches. Santa Domingo is a very old place that used to be the colonial settlement for the Europeans. It was established around six centuries ago. Many firm buildings of this place have been maintained since many centuries in the past. Some of the structures are: the American Cathedral and the Palace of Diego. 

Altos de Chavon stores quite a large collection of historic items and structures that have been persevered since several centuries ago. Altos de Chavon is said to have emerged in the sixteenth century. The archaeological museum in this town shows a lot of the history of this town including the ancient culture of the people. Manati Park is the meeting place for a wide range of animal species and many botanical gardens. Some of the animals to be seen are the charming dolphins, the unique fish species and strong horses. The gardens have a large collection of beautiful tropical plants. The park has a mini shopping centre for impressive souvenirs made by the local talented artists. 

The clear turquoise Caribbean Sea creates a good environment for swimming, sailing and surfing. Scuba diving facilities are also available to see the beautiful aquatic environment of the sea as well as meet with the adorable dolphins.
