Niagara Falls - Travel Guide and Travel Info

Niagara Falls is the largest and most attractive falls in the world. They are located at the border of Canada and New York State of the United States of America, but are considered a tourists attraction in Canada though Canada and USA share this magnificent huge water feature. Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls starting from the largest of the group to the minor ones are: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. These falls position themselves at the mouth of the Niagara River where there is a steep cliff along which the river drains water from Lake Erie to the lower Lake Ontario. 



The Niagara Falls is impressive major tourist attractions for both Canada and New York. There are guided tours that enable tourists to view the waterfalls closely. As a result of the Niagara Falls, the Niagara Town was formed, relying on the electricity power generated from these falls. 



Both the Town and the falls make up a general attraction site, with the town providing the accommodation facilities and other additional activities that visitors can optionally involve themselves in to enjoy their visit to the great waterfalls of the world. 



Niagara has several tourist sites waiting to be seen. The Niagara Falls is a major attraction that every visitor has to get a close glimpse of the waterfalls. There is a rain forest nearby that give the green healthy appearance of the vegetation surrounding the waterfalls.

Near the rain forest is a Butterfly Conservatory where thousands of colorful butterflies are reared. The Table Rock Welcome Center is the station where visitors can get the closest view of the largest of the three Niagara Falls, the Horseshoe Waterfalls


The Niagara Falls Park has a station where visitors can watch the tremendous process through which the Niagara Gorge was formed leading to the Niagara Waterfalls ten thousand years ago. This is a masterpiece that every tourist can never miss to experience. 


Near the Niagara Falls Park is a golf field where golf lovers can play golf in the Dinosaur Adventure Golf Club. There is a form of a cable car know as the Whirlpool Aero Car that transports visitors across over the waterfall scene. In Niagara Town there is brilliant casino center to hang out with friends and play the good wise poker game. There is also a special Niagara event that takes place at the venue of the Niagara Falls where residents near the site light up many fireworks during the Niagara festivity. 



The tour around this whole, huge, waterfall feature can take a day to tour around it but as a visitor to the region, you would never move out of Niagara the same day. Just like meeting a lovely flower garden and wanting to see it the next day, is the same as visiting the Niagara Falls. 



There are several exotic hotels located in a position of better view of the falls from afar. These hotels can be found in Clifton Hill and the nearby Niagara Town. They offer well-equipped room service, gorgeous swimming pools, professional spa treatment services and varieties of international delicious cuisine.

  1. Niagara falls is my favorite one travel destination. It breathtaking views and alluring surroundings makes it more prominent one destination of USA. Now i am going to explore for once again during my washington dc from new york with my girl friend.

  2. Being a travel amateur i love to explore natural spots. Niagara falls is one the top of my bucket list i visited there once during my montreal to washington dc bus although had short time tour there but love the viewing of the fall during mist boat ride.
